New Version of FilesDIRECT Released
FilesDIRECT today announced the release of the newest version of their online file transfer and storage service: FilesDIRECT 2.04
While the service is maintaining its current overall design, a number of upgrades have been implemented to streamline the user experience:
- File Receive Wizard: an easy-to-use, step-by-step process to shows users how to get files from other people. The wizard will send an email to an address of the user’s choice with specific instructions on how to upload files to the user’s account – free of charge.
- Search: clients can now search through the files in their account on their Manage Files page.
- Sort files: a “Sort” function has been created for the Manage Files page, and the client’s sort order will be remembered the next time they login.
- Facebook Connect: current and new users can now associate their FilesDIRECT account with their Facebook page, allowing them to use Facebook to login to their FilesDIRECT account.
FilesDIRECT was one of the first companies to offer file transfer services (online since 2003), and they are positioning themselves as the premium service in the industry by giving their clients a host of additional benefits, including 128-bit SSL encryption on all transfers, 10 GB of storage to start, and more.
